There is no single guaranteed timeline. Your coordinator should explain the next milestone and identify which party is completing it.
Can I choose the intended parents?
Yes. Matching is a mutual decision. You can review a profile, meet the intended parents, ask questions, and decide whether the relationship feels comfortable. We move forward only after both you and the intended parents agree that the match feels right.
Will I need to travel?
Possibly. Screening or embryo-transfer appointments may take place at a partner clinic outside your immediate area. The amount of travel depends on your location and clinic. Before you commit to an appointment, your coordinator will explain the plan and how approved travel arrangements and expenses are handled under your agreement.
What happens if a transfer is unsuccessful?
Your coordinator and fertility clinic will explain the medical next steps and whether another transfer is recommended. Compensation for completed milestones and approved expenses is handled according to your legal agreement. You will have time to ask questions and understand the plan before another transfer is scheduled.
What support do I receive after delivery?
Your coordinator remains available during the postpartum period. Support may include regular check-ins, help coordinating follow-up appointments, reimbursement follow-up, emotional support resources, and guidance as the journey comes to a close. Your specific postpartum plan is reviewed with you before delivery.
